You will find below the answers to the most frequent questions received from customers. If you haven't found what you are looking for, do not hesitate to contact us.
I have no design skills. Where do I start?
No worries. We have a great team of graphic designers ready to create something just for you! They can start from a hand sketch, photograph, or just an idea. We also have a new Design tool on our Custom Web site where you can design your own jersey using either the Semi-custom or full custom options.
Are the design fee and print costs included in the price?
Design and sublimation (the process we use to print on the fabric) are included in the pricing. You can have as many colors as you want in your design. We can match Pantone colors to ensure consistency.
What type of file is required for logos?
We will need all your logos in Vector format which is a high-resolution file created in Adobe Illustrator (eps or ai files). If you can’t provide the proper file format please send us what you have and we can verify if these are usable or if we need to retrace the logos (some art charges will apply).
Where is your stuff made?
Garneau Custom products are designed in Canada and manufactured in a company-owned facility in Mexico.
How do I determine my size?
A sizing chart is available on our custom website, but we encourage you to host a fit session with your team. We will ship samples on a loaner basis for you to try on and determine proper fit.
What is the difference between Slim fit and Standard fit?
We designed our Slim fit jersey based on an aerodynamic fit with a next-to-skin feel. Standard fit is still close to the body but with comfort in mind. We always recommend ordering a fit kit so that you can always make the appropriate choice of fit and size.
What are the differences between our chamois?
There is no “best” when it comes to chamois. Different riders prefer different levels of padding. We believe any point where the body makes contact with the bike is important. It determines comfort, and the more comfortable you are the more enjoyable your ride will be. That’s why we have invested in our proprietary chamois technology.
What is the warranty policy for custom products?
All custom products are covered by a one (1) year warranty on product malfunctions (zippers or seams). If a product is damaged in any way (through transportation or simply defective), we require clear photos of the product first and then evaluate if the product can be repaired or simply replaced.
What do I need to start an order?
Once you know what you want to order, we will quote things out for you with styles, pricing, sizing, and quantities. Once you sign that quote and submit payment, it becomes a contract and we are ready to move forward to production layouts on your design. Your order doesn’t go into production until your art is approved.
What are your minimums on custom order?
Minimum per style number is 6 units but all styles (except accessories) can be combined together to reach a higher price bracket and lower pricing on all items.
Can I combine Men and Women styles to reach the 6 units minimum?
Since Men and Women items of a same product are 2 different style number, we need a minimum of 6 units for each one.
